SFC Draw Beta Test

SFC Draw is a new Windows program for the production of Sequential Function Charts according to IEC1131/3.
To date, SFC/Grafcet drawing has only been available within expensive packages such as some PLC and DCS programming software, or with large applications like ControlDraw. No low cost software has been available for this purpose. Some drawing program, such as Visio or SmartDraw, have add-on’s or libraries that help, but these are limited in many ways.
SFC Draw is designed by a Control Engineer who understand what SFC’s are for and how they function.
As mentioned before, SFC functions have been a part of ControlDraw for several years. ControlDraw is a major application and the SFC functions represent about 2% of it. Many users want something simple that they can just use to create SFC diagrams for specifications.
The software is under development and ControlDraw Ltd is looking for testers
The software designed for process and control engineers who need to produce SFC’s for inclusion in with process descriptions and functional requirements specifications

SFC Draw software is a produced by ControlDraw Ltd, a software supplier to industries that use control systems, and is based on the SFC functions that have been a part of ControlDraw for several years.

 (Some presently exist in ControlDraw, however SFC Draw includes many new functions that considerably improve the ease of diagramming. These will of course be incorporated in future versions of ControlDraw.)
